The main GIDC estates around Vadodara are Nandesari and Ranoli to the north, Makarpura in the city, Waghodia to the east, Savli and Manjusar to the north-east, and Por–Ramangamdi to the south. Older estates like Nandesari and Makarpura mostly see expansions and upgrades in running plants; Savli and Manjusar see many new factories on empty plots.
Nandesari
North of the city, one of Gujarat’s best-known chemical estates. Most work is inside running chemical plants: expansions, foundations, pipe racks, piping and maintenance, all under permit. Our office is here.
Ranoli
Close to Nandesari, with a mix of chemical and engineering units. Similar work to Nandesari, often beside live processes.
Makarpura
Inside the city to the south, one of the oldest and busiest estates. Plots are mostly built up, so work is upgrading: new sheds on old plots, floors, roofs and roads, often around running units.
Waghodia
East of the city, with chemical, pharmaceutical and engineering units, and both new plots and expansions.
Savli and Manjusar
North-east of the city, with many new plots. Projects here are often greenfield: compound wall, shed or PEB building, floor, roads, drains and fire fighting.
Por–Ramangamdi
South of the city along NH48, convenient for factories, workshops and warehouses serving the south Gujarat corridor.
Before you build in any estate
- Confirm plot rules, setbacks and approvals with GIDC and your architect
- Plan building position, truck movement and expansion on the plot
- Secure the plot early (a precast compound wall is quick)
- Plan fire fighting from day one to avoid fire NOC delays
